7-year-old girl sells her paintings to fund education for poor kids Art / Artists / Painting

This seven-year-old girl is a heartwarming example of parenting skills done right. While most of us keep cribbing about various social issues in our houses or offices, Sanjana Bhosale, a standard 2 student from OES International School, Vasai, Mumbai, is showing us how to be selfless and spread some love. India’s youngest philanthropist sells her beautiful paintings to help raise funds to educate underprivileged kids.

It has been only a few months since she started learning painting from a private instructor. Being a quick learner, she has managed to create some amazing artworks using complementary hues and shades. From human portraits to landscapes, she has created different art pieces that are likely to grab the attention of viewers.

Amazed by her beautiful paintings, her mother, Madhavi Bhosale, thought of donating her paintings to help educate poor children. When Madhavi asked Sanjana to donate her paintings, the little one happily agreed for the good cause. After that, her family approached Debabrata Auro Foundation, which is run by Dr. Debraj Shome and Dr. Aparna Govil Bhasker, to donate five of Sanjana’s artworks.

It’s really good that at a very young age her parents are making her aware of all the right things. If parents are truly concerned about their children, they must raise their children in such a way to support a greater purpose through their creativity.

For those, who want to help the education for underprivileged children, Bhosale’s paintings are available for sale on the official website of the Foundation.
