These frames may look like characters from a comic book, but these photographs are of a brilliant body painter. The self-taught makeup artist, Justine McKinney, spends around 10-20 hours for full body makeup and body painting to transform herself into various animated characters.
Each of her body art depicts bold outlines and comic type images along with vibrant touches. She almost takes an entire day to metamorphose into different anime characters, as it’s more difficult to paint on oneself than on others. Each of her character looks stunning and part of a zombie team. Why not? She actually works as a makeup artist at My Gal, The Zombie TV show.
She started painting herself two years ago and even done some FX makeup in a couple small independent films. She loves painting herself into different zombie characters and take a few pictures and videos, and finally wash it off. It’s her own version of a sand art!
