Unbelievably realistic pencil portraits that look like photographs Artists / Sketching

Rendering reality like you’ve never seen before, Nigerian artist Arinze Stanley creates unbelievably realistic pencil portraits that you may mistake for real photographs. Although many artists create hyper-realistic portraits using oil paints or other mediums, this talented artist has used only monochrome pencils to make each sketch that appears to be the exact replica of photographic images.

It takes around 100 hours to complete one sketch, but the result is absolutely worth the efforts. These pencil sketches are the finest hyper-realistic drawings we’ve seen so far. Stanley’s incredible work needs immense patience and skill that rely completely on improvisation.

For those, who feel his artworks are not real and some sort of trick, Stanley has shared his drawings in progress at various stages. Check out the images below to see how his each photo-realistic drawing has been made. If you yourself is a hyper-realistic sketch artist, these artworks will surely inspire you.
